Evergreen Energy Consulting (EEC) is a full-service renewable energy consulting and development firm located in Maui, Hawaii. EEC focuses on utility-scale solar projects and microgrids. We are available for project management, land acquisition, county and state permitting, utility communication and establishing renewable energy credits.

EEC isn’t new to the industry; we have over 15 years in the energy conservation space and twenty years residing on the island of Maui. As a result, we possess knowledge of renewable energy tax credits, funding arrangements, all renewable technologies, engineering, construction, request for proposal submittals, community solar, and land use development in Hawai’i and the mainland.

CEO Emily Erickson is originally from Montevallo, Alabama. Emily was raised on a 300-acre Christmas Tree Farm and knows the meaning of hard work. Emily was introduced to the world of sustainability while working as the Marketing Director at the University of Hawaii Maui College. During the height of Net-Metering, she was the Operations Manager for Maui Solar Project, a residential solar installer. Emily is part of the original development team for the first two utility-scale Solar Farms on Maui and has participated in the first and second Hawaiian Electric Company Request for Proposals, which were the largest procurements of energy in the nation.

Emily is the marketing chair for a local non-profit, The Maui Farm, and an alumnus of the prestigious Ka Ipu Kukui Fellows leadership program.

Driving change in the renewable energy space is her modus operandi to bring life, positivity, and sustainability to the world.
